Physical verification remains useful when an institution specifically requires on-ground assessment or when a case needs additional investigation.

Digital address verification is more suited to workflows where the institution can establish sufficient confidence through remote location and visual evidence and wants to reduce unnecessary field intervention.

The decision should therefore be based on the nature of the verification requirement rather than treating either method as universally superior.
